Nacho Monreal with the Spanish National Team

Yesterday was a great day for Osasuna supporters, but overall it was a dreamed day for Nacho Monreal, a young player who has been always playing for the team of his homeland, Osasuna.
Nacho Monreal debuted for the Spain National Team against Macedonia in a friendly game.
The match was held to celebrate the built of a new stadium and the previous minutes for the kick-off the Spain's squad took the field wearing red shirts bearing the surname and number 21 of Daniel Jarque, the captain of Espanyol and the under-21 Spain teams, who died from a heart attack last Saturday. Then, the new Philip II stadium held a minute's silence for the loss of the Catalonian player.
Spain ended the half time in a worrying 2-0 score, but the Spanish coach, Vicente del Bosque reacted with three substitutions. Osasuna supporters were searching the screen to find Nacho Monreal, but we still had to wait for "the Osasuna canterano" debut.
After five minutes of the second half kickoff the European Cup Winners lifted up the score with the goals of Torres, Pique and Riera, who dedicated the goal to Jarque.
Everything seemed to calm down, but we still weren't happy enough as Nacho wasn't in the field. There were two more substitutions and also the debut of the Spanish goalkeeper, Diego López. Then, we thought, as Osasuna supporters, that once again our players would be underestimated. Even the Spanish TV presenter announced the debut of Nacho Monreal, but we watched how Güiza jumped on the pitch, and another TV presenter said that Nacho Monreal was already on the pitch.
Was another misunderstanding of TVE, a problem with the tv signal? Don't know, but it was an insult for the Nacho's family and all of us who support Osasuna and their players.
Finally, Nacho Monreal played around 20 minutes at the left wing of Spain's squad and contributed in the final victory (2-3) with excellent passes at the left-back post next to great players as Pique. He got one of his dream come true, and you can do it too. Congratulations for him and Osasuna supporters!
