Jimmy Hendrix

Jimmy Hendrix was born in King County Hospital in Washington with the name Johnny Allen Hendrix. His mother got a native American origin and his father an Afroamerican. They changed
his name to James Marshall Hendrix in memorial of his dead uncle.
He grew up his first years in the slums. His parents got divorced when he was nine years and he went to his grandmother´s house.

He bought an acustic guitar for five dolars, he learned seeing other persons play the guitar.
In 1958 his mother died and his father bought his first electric guitar (a Supro Ozark white, but
without an amplifier.) He wasn´t any interested in class and he left the school before he
graduated.

In 1964 he was guitarist in the band the Isley Brothers.

In 18th of September on 1970 in London, he died when he was 27 years. The previous night he was in a party.
