NATIONAL FESTIVAL OF THE BLOSSOM
The
National festival of the cherry Blossom is on annual festival that takes place
in Washington.
This festival commemorates the gift Yuki Ozaki
made to 3000 Japanese cherry trees.
The mayor
Ozaki donated the trees in an effort to enhance the growing friendship between the
United Started and the Japan.
These trees
indicate the beginning of the spin around the basin in west Potomac Park.
This
festival lasts two weeks and it begins with on opening ceremony, followed of
activities and cultural events.
Every day
there is a sushi and sake tasting, classes about cherry Blossoms, and a bike
tour around the Basin.
During
these days there are art exhibitions, sculpture exhibitions last of more
cultural activities
Also we can
see kimora's parades, dances concerts or exhibitions of mortal arts.
