Literacy Week at Salesianos Pamplona and Shakespeare/Cervantes Day

Before we started holidays, the Spanish and English Department held a short week of Literature Approach and Activities to promote reading in the classrooms with students of ESO4 ( Literature and Latin Section ) as lecturers and we held a Second Hand Book Market during the daily breaks. Finally we ended this three days with a Karaoke in the theatre of the school. Although students didn't feel confident enough to sing along, I think that it is a good time to remember the songs YOU chose: Students from ESO1 chose a new song: 10000 MANERAS from DAVID BISBAL, a famous singer from the first edition of OPERACION TRIUNFO. A song which talks about the different ways of saying the truth, love, etc. Students from ESO2 chose a song: HEY BROTHER! from AVICII who is a Swedish DJ who took some ideas from the famous David Guetta. a song which talks about the brotherhood of Mankind and how we still can change the world with love. Students from ESO3 decided to sing along with another inspiring song: LET HER GO from PASSENGER It is a song that talks about how you realize what you had when you lose it, no matter if is your love or a possession. Finally, students from ESO4 wanted to use the song from PHARRELL WILLIAMS to give the importance of being happy of our lives. All in all was a great week for students and teachers as well. Now we can enjoy our deserving holidays of Easter and we have to make a profit of our free time and not forget that it is only a month to end the course when we go back to school. We gave a conclusion to that fiesta with this funny song: HAVE NICE RELAXING EASTER HOLIDAYS!
