Osasuna-Almeria, three key friendly points for Javier Gracia

Good afternoon, dear Osasunists! Another Friday night of football, but Osasuna must add the three points against Almeria this Friday evening at El Sadar. It is compulsory because the Navarrians would go back to the urgency we had in September when the club changed of coach as they were in the last position of the classification.

After the disappointing score at Anoeta ( 5-0 ) last weekend ( sorry for the lack of my article, but I was celebrating my birthday ), Osasuna missed the opportunity to climb up in La Liga and also brought back doubts to their supporters about their play in Donostia, overall in the defensive posts of the team. Almería, on the other hand, arrives in Pamplona with the idea of going up in La Liga and after two consecutive victories, against Valencia and Valladolid, they think of leaving the dangerous  relegation posts in Navarre.

Javi Gracia was the coach in Almeria last season and he helped to reach First Division. That was one of the reasons the chairman and his people decided to sign him for Osasuna's bench and his relation with the team of his birthplace. He can't use some of his best men for this key match: Nino and Sisi are injured, and De Las Cuevas and Loties are sanctioned. But the news are Javi is about to use a 16-old-year Navarrian player in this confrontation: José García Maurín.

As we said previously, Almeria is just the opposite to Osasuna's situation. Their strength is their defence and after twelve games they got scored at any game, they kept their goal safe in Valencia. It is going to be a tough confrontation that might lead to an urgent complicated month for the loser. Probable kickoff teams: Osasuna: Andrés Fernández; Marc Bertrán, Flaño, Arribas, Damiá; Raoul, Lolo, Cejudo, Torres, Silva, Oriol Riera. UD Almería: Esteban; Nelson, Pellerano, Trujillo, Torsiglieri, Dubarbier; Ramón Azeez, Marcos Tébar; Aleix, Hélder Barbosa; Rodri.

Gora Osasuna!Aupa Rojillos!

Osasuna-Almeria, last game before Christmas

Almeria and Osasuna are playing their second match in a week for the Copa del Rey competition. It's a game with different viewpoints in their supporters, as Osasuna is almost classified after the match last week.

That is the atmosphere in Pamplona as some players are already in their countries, on Christmas holidays. Therefore, there will be changes in the kickoff team. On the other hand, Almeria C.F. is going to do their best at the Reyno de Navarra stadium so they want to be in the next leg of the competition.

Osasuna don't have to take in advance their clasiffication, though their position in the League and the results in their last five games may give confidence to their players and supporters. We are fifth and the UEFA dream is in our minds.

Mendilibar said that he isn't on holidays yet. Let's see! His words are not always seen as wit as expected, but Osasuna supporters want to keep their hopes at Christmas and see another final in May 2012! That is my desire for Olentzero, Father Christmas or the Three Wise Men!

MERRY CHRISTMAS FOR ALL YOU! HAPPY NEW YEAR FOR OSASUNA SUPPORTERS!

Almeria-Osasuna, the K.O. Championship starts

Good evening, dear Osasunists! Tonight Osasuna begins their route towards a desired final at Santiago Bernabeu stadium ( or Vicente Calderon ) in April 2012. Their first rival is a now Second Division team: Almeria C.F.

Mendilibar's team is playing very well in the League and we must make a profit of that lucky good moment to forget last year early elimination against Deportivo de La Coruña.

It's also a good moment to try with different players as the usual ones and give some minutes to previously injured. Nekounam, Damiá may have a good opportunity to show their coach that they might play at the weekend.

On the other hand, Almería C.F. have already played two games in this championship. They are on the top positions of the Second Division League ( they are 6th ), but they haven't won their last consecutive five matches.

Kickoff teams:
Almería: Diego García; Rafita, Marcelo Silva, Acasiete, Dani Bautista; Verza, Soriano, Benardello; Aarón, Goitom y Omar.
Osasuna: Asier Riesgo; Damià, Roversio, Miguel Flaño,Satrústegui; Nekounam, Timor; Cejudo, Roberto Torres, Annunziata; y Lekic.

Gora Osasuna!Aupa Rojillos!

Almeria C.F. vs C.A. Osasuna, the countdown starts

Good afternoon, dear Osasunists!
Today Osasuna, like other football teams in Spain, start the second round of the League. The final countdown is on and Osasuna play against a direct rival in their League to avoid relegation: Almeria F.C.
On the one hand, it could seem an easy game to get that away victory that Osasuna is unable to achieve more than a year ago, as the rival is the last in the classification right now!
But on the other hand, Almeria F.C. have lately showed that their coach, Oltra, and their players deserve to stay in First Division and they improve each week their play.
As we know, Osasuna usually plays against the team Mou's men leave the previous weekend. Almeria got a draw in a very complicated game and they achieved a very successful week when they defeated Deportivo in Copa del Rey and will play against Barça in semifinal, their best classification ever.
Therefore, their moral is on the top and they can face this afternoon game to improve their classification and to worse Osasuna situation.
If we have a look to their confrontations, Almeria have won the last three years and Osasuna is only four points ahead, so for the Andalusian team is a good opportunity to shorten their distance and I have that feeling that it will be a bad weekend again!
I am going to finish with that slogan a famous politician of bad remembrance used to say: Vayase Sr. Camacho, vayase! ( Camacho must go, please!!!! )
Gora Osasuna!Aupa Rojillos!

Here we are again!

.
Hello, again! Here we are to start a new season for everyone.

First, it's time for football. As you know one of the most important topics of this blog. Later, in some days, we'll start the school season and the rest of the topics.

Before I start talking about Osasuna and the first match at home against Almeria, I would like to say hello to all you follow my comments as a compulsory task for school, and those who do not attend my classes. But, I also have to ask an unpleasant viewer to leave my blog. This is a first polite request, but I tell you that all who do not behave educatedly will not be allowed to participate or have a espace in my blog.

Therefore, there will not be comments for an unpleasant Japanese-Chinese linker and all will be deleted.

By the way, I'm sorry for my long absence, as it was forced because a virus in my computer and later, of course, for necessary holidays.

Now, the important issue: OSASUNA. They are also back and our expectances aren't very optimistic after the pre-season results. There are also some people who are not very pleasant with the same coach. I mean, I do not agree with the decision of mantaining Camacho as the mister of Osasuna.

Everyone will probably have been follower of the World Cup last July and the coverage of Tele5 in the championship. First, I congratulate Spain for the achievement of the World Cup, but I please ask the executive managers of the Spanish channel to not kill us with the boreness and high-rated hooliganism of speakers as Camacho, who was first signed to teach us with tactics and proffesional comments, but in the end there were only chants, sighs or shouting.

You see then my opinion about Osasuna's coach! Then we have the new footballers in the club. I think Osasuna is one of the clubs with the lowest budget in the so called Liga de las Estrellas, but I also think that Izco do not spend or invest the money as appropiated. I think that the best new player is the goalkeeper Asier Riesgo, a good substitute for Ricardo, but Leko, is still an incognite, as he is too young to know. Finally, it seems that Soriano has been a good player in the preseason matches. Let's see what happens with the rest of the new players.

Finally, for those who left the club this year, first I would say "thank you". No matter how well or bad they did it in the club. In my opinion, we won't probably miss anyone, sincerely. I only wish them all their best, above all to Delporte who could not get well again after his last injures.

Now it's time for players to call our attention and win our support! I finished last sseason a bit disappointed, and I start with the same mood. So let's see how the season 10/11 go, but in the end there are only a couple of sentences to write an end to my first article:

GORA OSASUNA! AUPA ROJILLOS!

p.s. There will be some other changes in the following days! Welcome back to all of you!!

Osasuna-Almeria, anxiety is back

Hello, my dear suffering Osasuna supporters!
Here we are again with another weekend game, and there are only ten left! Therefore, and after the last results in the League alarms blew off in any estament of this club!
First, it has been the supporter who has realized that something is being done wrong and last game at the Reyno de Navarra stadium there were some whistles against the chairman Izco and coach Camacho.

I know blaming is very easy! I know it because of my job, but we must come into terms with the idea that if someone is in charge of a club somehow, they are the ones to be blame! Izco is accused of using the club as a way of promoting and I see that his only key job is the economy and the budget, but I wonder what has been done with the money saved after the leaving of some players in January. I have a look to the team and I realize there's a necessity of new valuable players, overall in forward positions.

Camacho is also to be blame because he hasn't been able to motivate players in key moments of the season! First I have to start with the most disappointing moment: the elimination of Osasuna at quarter finals of Copa del Rey against Racing de Santander, the same rival in which game both people were overwhelmed critized.

Perhaps the last game against Racing, Camacho had to play with some eventual footballers he doesn't usually count with, but that's the main job of a good coach, like Guardiola, who had to motivate very good players like Ibrahimovic or Messi against Osasuna to win the match and be in the seek of the League Championship.

Camacho didn't know how to motivate players against Racing in Copa del Rey, and tht was the end of a good dream we, Osasuna supporters, had after the final in 2005. After that game all was over and even the League was something less interesting. Osasuna was in a comfortable position and players didn't know what they were playing for.

Osasuna is used to playing for keeping in First Division and players aren't mentally prepared to play for UEFA positions or even less Champions. When I read and listened to journalists comments after Osasuna played at Camp Nou that they faced Barcelona very bravely, but...........they lost!

I heard all that bullshit some years ago, when Osasuna played very well, but the points went to other team and Osasuna relegated to Second Division again. This week I have read an article in the newspaer El Pais, and the writer expressed his opinion that Osasuna and his play have change at Reyno de Navarra, which is no longer a tough place to go, teams don't feel uncomfortable with the supporters and the local team, and now both Osasuna team and supporters are easy to contrast.

This afternoon is Almeria F.C. the team which is playing at the Reyno de Navarra stadium. After Hugo Sanchez, the ex-Real Madrid player was dismissed, it is the most relevant team in the second round of the League. Their actual coach is Lillo, a famous coach for his motivating speeches with their players and many of the players in Almeria who were admired two years ago are playing brilliantly again.

Almeria F.C. is one of those teams which may be the rivals to avoid Second Division relegation! YESSSSSSSSSSS!! Fear is back and now maths is important for supporters, chairman, coach and players in Osasuna. There are 10 games left, 30 points left and Osasuna is still at 31 points. We need to add more points in the classification and go up, and all depends to this afternoon match against Almeria F.C.

Possible kickoff teams:
Osasuna: Ricardo, Flaño, Josetxo, Monreal, Azpilicueta, Puñal, Vadócz, Nekounam, Camuñas, Juanfran and Pandiani.

Almería: D. Alves, Acasiete, Pellerano, Macedo, Cisma, Vargas, M´bami, Bernardello, Corona, Crusat and K. Uche.

Kickoff time at 17:00 horas at Reyno de Navarra stadium with Rubinos Pérez, as the referee.

GORA OSASUNA!AUPA ROJILLOS!
