Getafe-Osasuna, the back to cruel reality
Good afternoon, dear Osasunists! The match this weekend is on Saturday afternoon, another scheduled time from FEF and the commitments of private channels of television. It's one of the worst scheduled time of the weekend, as people aren't used to going to the stadium so early on Saturday. It's true that when you get used, you make the best of the day and have time to do other things either the same Saturday or the day after as you don't have to go to the stadium; therefore, it's a good family Sunday. Anyway, the timetable is at 4 o'clock in the afternoon at the Alfonso Perez stadium in Getafe, a southern town in Madrid. That stadium is one of the emptiest in the Spanish liga as not many people of the area fill the home place of Getafe F.C. Osasuna needs to overcome the consecutive defeats against Valencia C.F. , one in Liga and the other in Copa del Rey, and break the bad results at the Coliseum in Getafe. The team of the Madrid area is at the European positions while Osasuna must get points to avoid going to relegation posts again. Mendilibar, Osasuna's coach, said this week that the must go on in the fighting attitude, but players, overall forward players should be more successful on their skills. There are few goals from those players and some of them, like Joseba Llorente is under critics. However, the defenders are quite fit and even when Andres Fernandez got scored after more than 400 minutes, Valencia players "only" scored three goals in two games. Besides, we must remind that Osasuna got four points out of the last six away from El Sadar stadium against Espanyol and Real Sociedad. Sisi and Masoud are still injured, but Kike Sola and Flaño may go back to kickoff team for Osasuna. And Mendilibar has decided, and I agree, that Lolo, Annan, Echaide and Llorente must stay in Pamplona. Perhaps, the only one I may disagree is Echaide. Kickoff teams: Getafe CF: Moyá; Valera, Lopo, Abraham, Mané; Míchel, Xavi Torres; Pedro León, Diego Castro o Abdel, Lafita; Álvaro Vázquez. CA Osasuna: Andrés Fernández; Damiá, Arribas, Flaño, Nano; Puñal, Raoul; Cejudo, Armenteros, Nino; Kike Sola. The referee will Teixeira from the Cantabrian comite, but we'd better not talk about them.
