THE CREATION OF THE WORLD
It all started with the first being, Chaos, meaning disorder. After Gea, the Earth, Tartarus was hell and finally Eros, Love, appeared.
The latter is the one that accepts its origin, because although Hesiod makes it appear out of nowhere, as it was felt that love was a necessary step for those first beings to begin breed with each other and that would lead to the creation of other feelings generation after generation.
Other versions say that son of Aphrodite, goddess of beauty and sexual desire and Ares, god of war, or Hermes god of commerce and thieves, knowing that these early relationships were not the result of love but of necessity.
