Osasuna in the final countdown of El Clasico

Good afternoon, dear Osasunists! This is one of the weekends when tradition mixes with football, and when I have crossed feelings for the match of Osasuna.F.C. Barcelona is running of time to catch the first team in La Liga to win the championship. Overall, the home team must show their skills and power to defeat a minor team like Osasuna, but as they lost in Zorrilla last weekend, Osasuna can get another surprise!

Gracia's players don't have anything to lose in this game and moreover, they have to struggle to get a point as they have lost their last two games in La Liga, one away, in Valencia against Levante(2-0) and at El Sadar against Málaga (0-2). Therefore, the relegation posts are closer than two weeks ago and the season is dying out. It is true that Osasuna were unlucky in their last match against Malaga, with a lot of failed occasions near the goal.

Nevertheless, Osasuna is still a weak team at home and they missed a good opportunity to reach a comfortable post in La Liga. As always, our team must get used to struggling for a position in First Division from now to the end of the season. There is always a place for surprise at El Camp Nou, as it happened on 23th May 2.009, when Osasuna won with Pandiani's goal and also the last draw at El Sadar (0-0) gives hope to the team for a good result in this visit to Barcelona.

On the other hand, Martino and his men have been on the spot for a week after their defeat in Valladolid and the anxiety to win against Manchester City in the Champions League. Besides, there are many issues in the club of Les Corts that players get distracted: Messi's injures or health problems, Neymar's court issues, Pujol, Iniesta, Valdes,...all these things are more important in the city, even more than the Nationalism Issue, than the match aginst Osasuna.
Another issue is El Clasico, the match against Ancelotti's team, which will be played next Sunday and when most people think that La Liga will be won or lost. Anyway, the team from La Castellana did their homework last night against Malaga, but Barcelona's players must be willing to satisfy their supporters and park their confrontations with their coach, Martino. However, it is expected to have the well-known "rotations" before "the match of the year": Bartra for Piqué, Montoya for Alves, Xavi for Cesc, etc...But Osasuna's coach would like to have those doubts for his kickoff list!

Kickoff lists:
Barcelona: Valdes; Montoya, Bartra, Mascherano, Alba; Busquets, Iniesta, Cesc; Pedro, Messi and Neymar.
At. Osasuna: Andrés Fernández; Oier Sanjurjo, Loties, Arribas, Damiá; Silva, Lolo; Cejudo, Torres, Armenteros; Oriol Riera.
GORA OSASUNA! AUPA ROJILLOS!

Osasuna-Valencia, the final countdown again

Good afternoon, dear Osasunists! Tonight it's the beginning of the final countdown, again. Osasuna and Valencia F.C., the visitor team tonight, play the match after losing their last game the previous weekend. Perhaps, Valencia's defeat was more painful against Real Madrid, but the result for the final classification was worse for Osasuna.

Osasuna haven't won a match since their victory against Hercules in Alicante. After Saturday night football results, Osasuna need a victory if they want to avoid Second Division relegation ( Real Sociedad and Zaragoza won Barça and Real Madrid, unfortunately ). Valencia is on the third position in the classification with six comfortable points ahead over the fourth, Villareal. However, Emery's players must offer a better image to their supporters than the one against Mou's team.

At least we, Osasuna, play at home, at the Reyno de Navarra stadium, a key and fortress for our team, but not against important rivals like Barça, Atletico or Athletic. Nevertheless, we, Osasuna supporters must be with the team, the players and forget our different opinions with the chairman Izco and his men, that is important to cheer up our team, and we know that Valencia is very comfortable at our stadium and get points away from here!

Do not forget that a good players like Soldado will be the forward and enemy for Ricardo. We have good memories of his actions for Osasuna, but he is in the rival team tonight, and we must whistle the highest ever!!! And Pandiani - K.Sola must notice our support to kick the ball and get goals for Osasuna.

Gora Osasuna!Aupa Rojillos!

It was five years ago, against the same rival, but we need the same support!

C.A. Osasuna-R.C.D. Mallorca, a game of urgencies

Good afternoon, dear Osasunists,
Congratulations to everyone! As you see I've broken one of my rules in my blog and I started this article with the echoes of last game at El Reyno de Navarra stadium. The victory against Real Madrid has been a media success for everyone in the club and some of the problems in Osasuna may have been relegated for a worse period this season.
OK!Let's continue this wave. I'm very excited of the victory against Real Madrid, one of my most hated teams in the world, if not the only one, but I have to agree with Camacho, the coach I don't trust on much, that the result from last week won't be worthy if Osasuna don't win this afternoon match!
Another game on Saturday, an early Saturday which may provoke that the supporters from the countryside may not go to the stadium, but the good weather, the excitement of the victory against Real Madrid, and the rival can make us forget the cons.
If Sporting could defeat Mallorca in their stadium, Osasuna, with their moral in their highest level in this moment of the season, is able to increase the gap from the teams at the bottom of the classification.
What do Osasuna need? They have to repeat the good strategies which helped to knock down the powerful Real Madrid: joined lines in the field and that courage and intensity Osasuna players lacked of in the last games before the visit of the white team.
I hope that Pandiani and the rest of the forwards in Osasuna will recover their abilities in front of the goal and they score again. Maybe the "fight" between the "showoff", arrogant Ronaldo and "the rifle" will motivate Osasuna forward against the "bermellones" ( strong red ) from Mallorca.
Another motivation to watch the match is to see the evolution of the new players in Osasuna: Leko, Lolo, etc have another opportunity to make us forget the leaving of Juanfran, his spirit was back at the Reyno de Navarra, but we also need to find a replacement for his spirit!Could it be Camuñas?
Good luck, Osasuna! Aupa Rojillos! Gora Osasuna!
