C.A.Osasuna-R.C.D.Espanyol, a new day starts
Good afternoon, dear Osasunists! Today we have another feeling before the match this afternoon. It could be of expectation, happiness, anxiety,...anyone you think of, but none negative. The Reyno de Navarra stadium will see the debut of the new coach in C.A. Osasuna: José Luis Mendilibar. He will have to confront his experience against a young coach who is fulfilling a very good season in Espanyol, his former club as a player, Pochettino. They are on the 6th position, but they have lost in the last three games.
Can you believe it? Osasuna needed 11 games to decide to tell Camacho go home and get a new coach, and do not forget that Osasuna haven't won a game away this season!!! As I have said at the berginning of the article there is hope in us, the Osasunists, and we know Mendilibar has had few days to meet his new players, but there are changes in their motivation and in us, like supporters. We moved to a Basque coach from a well-known Real Madrid fan, and I am sure Mendilibar will get support from the hooligans of Osasuna, Indar Gorri!
On the other hand is the classification. Osasuna need to win this game, as even we are in the relegation posts, the 12th position is only three points way, and the players know that the support of the audience in the Reyno de Navarra stadium is essential for their motivation. We must remember that the powerful Barça is the only team which got the three points in our stadium.
Mendilibar has got many problems to start his job in the club, overall who to use in defense, and do not forget that Aranda is injured too, and that Coro can't play due to his parent club, Espanyol, and the contract keys, but some players can have that opportunity they desired from the beginning of the season or after the winter market. That's Cejudo's case, who came from UD Las Palmas. Lolo and Nelson can have their opportunity too, due to the injured Flaño and Damiá. Besides, we have the issue of the young players from Osasuna B, and Ekhi must be pleasant and happy, as not many youngsters have been called to the first team lately!!
We still have the good result last season and the fast goal of Juanfran in the first ten minutes of the match. We need a similar start and to solve the match as soon as possible!
Gora Osasuna! Aupa Rojillos!
