The Prado Museum by Diego Cameirao

El Museo del Prado

Museo del Prado is in Madrid, Spain. It is considered one of the biggest museums in the world.

It features one of the world finest collections of European art, from the 12th Century to the 19th Century.
We can find works of authors such as Goya, Diego Velazquez, Tiziano and a lot of famous artists.
The best-known work on display at the museum is Las Meninas by Velazquez.

The ticket price is 14€. But it is free for people under 18, unemployed or students. Also, the admission is free for people with physical handicaps.

The timetable is normal. El Museo del Prado is open all the week, from 10am to 8pm, but it is closed on 1st January, 1st May and Christmas.

The present exhibition there, is El Greco. It is about the life and biography of the Spanish painter.

I chose that museum because it is one of the places where there are most of the Spanish art and history.
