The film starts when Lucinda heard voices in class and the teacher is preparing a time capsule and every child puts a drawing in it. But Lucinda writes numbers and she doesn´t make a drawing.
Fifty years later, Caleb (a student of the same school) gets Lucinda´s paper and he takes it to his house. Jonathan ( Caleb´s father ) is a scientist and he discoverss that the numbers of the paper are notes of disasters of the last fifty years. Then, strangers watch Caleb and they dissapear. Later some disasters happen and Jonathan investigates some numbers are the position and the time of the accidents. So he investigates and discovers that Lucinda is dead but she had a daughter, Dayana and a granddaughter, Abby. He finds them and asks them for help. They discover that a big disaster will happen and humanity will disappear.
Dayana decides to go to a cave to save herself and the children but Jonathan discovers a safer position. He calls Dayana but she doesn´t answer. Then the strangers catch the children and Dayana chases them, but she has an accident and she dies. Jonathan goes to the safe position and he discovers that the strangers are good and they save the children, but they don´t save Jonathan because he isn´t chosen so the rest of the humans die and Caleb and Abby are safe in another world/planet.
