Happy St Patrick's Day by Sheila

According to Encyclopedia Britannica, St. Patrick was the patron saint and national apostle of Ireland who is credited whith bringing christianity to Ireland.

Saint Patrick is most known for driving the snakes from Ireland. It is true there are no snakes in Ireland, but there probably never have been. As in many old pagan religions serpent symbols were common and often worshipped.

St Patrick's Day is a traditional day for spiritual renewal, the Irish are descendants of the ancient Celts, but the Vikings, Normans and English contributed to the ethnic nature of the people.

in American cities with a large Irish population, St. Patrick´s Day is a very big deal. They celebrate whith parades,``wearing of the green´´, music and songs, Irish food and drink, and activities. Some communities even go so far as to dye rivers or streams green!

Hi, Goi.

Greting from Roma, Italia. I´m here with my parents on
a house trip. I´ve been here a week and the truth is that everything is very nice.

I´ve been here for five days now and we´re dore last of exciting things. We´ve visited the underground and museum. Unfortunately the museum is cloused for repairs. Hope it gets better soon. I´ve met lots of people and i´ve mode a new friends.

I´ve taken a lot of pictures.

Christmas Eve at my aunt.

It was Christmas Eve and we were in my aunt's house having dinner after opening a gift. Was having dinner in the living roomand ate everything.

After dinner we played the Wii and Play cousins ​​we were and then they came.We were so late, playing all laughing andenjoying ourselves. Already at the end for almost all 2:30 left but Ithat my aunt's house. Since when were all me and my cousin ifwe got a room and we got the Wii, and we were there playing another good time. I went to sleep for 5 am and woke up to the 12.
A great time to me, laughing all night estubo. was fun.

My wekeend

Saturday is my favourite day. I usually sleep until late, at eleven or so and I gently place my breakfast with biscuits and muffins. After that, I sometimes watch TV, I often see H2O and Patito Feo.

My mother makes delicious food. My friends and I like macaroni and therefore she almost always cooks them for me. After lunch, I watch television for a bit or surf the net and then I do my homework until I meet my friends to go out.

In the afternoon, I usually go out with my friends by San Juan or Rocha. We have so much fun and I make a lot of laughs with them. I usually go to my house about half past nine.

At night, I have dinner, something light like soup and then I watch TV or I'm on the computer.
And I go to bed at about half past one or two o'clock to sleep.
