Depor-Osasuna, the second leg tie of 1/16 Copa del Rey

Good evening, dear Osasunists! We are here in another week game! How long will it last this "stressful" situation for Camacho's players? It might be the last game in the week, as Osasuna is playing against Deportivo in La Coruña, at their Riazor stadium.

When Lotina's team visited Pamplona for the first leg last 28th October, they were in a very delicated position in the Spanish League and our beloved ex-Osasuna coach was about to be fired out. After the confrontation at Reyno de Navarra stadium they got a worthy draw (1-1) for Copa del Rey.

Osasuna and Depor have played some other games in La Liga and Depor is only two points below Osasuna ( 12 against 14), and the Navarrians won a game more than the Galicians ( 3 won games against 2 ).

But tonight we are talking about another competition: the K.O. Championship, Copa del Rey. Deportivo de La Coruña is in a better situation than Osasuna, though Camacho has said that the leg is balanced and 50% for each side. Osasuna is obligated to score or to win the match to get the next leg.

Taking into account the above comments and facts, the match is obviously very attractive, not only for both team supporters, but, I think, it is also interesting for any football supporter, as I believe it will be a very disputated confrontation. And what are the TV channels doing?

I don't understand that there are so many TV channels now in the TDT, the ppv system ( Canal+, ONO, GOL TV, etc ), regional and local TV channels,... and no one TV channel is going to broadcast this match on live. They still broadcast and programme matches with so little expectations like Real Madrid or Barça legs.

Posible kickoff teams
Deportivo de La Coruña: Manu; Seoane or Manuel Pablo, Colotto, Rochela, Zé Castro, Morel; Juca, Juan Domínguez; Pablo Álvarez, Desmarets; Lassad.

Osasuna: Riesgo; Nelson, Sergio, Josetxo, Monreal; Juanfran, Lolo, Nekounam, Calleja; Vadocz and Lekic.

Referee: Fernández Borbalán (Andalusian) Stadium: Riazor. Time: 21h.

TV: NONE.
GORA OSASUNA!AUPA OSASUNISTS!

The Flistones, 50th Anniversary

The Flintstones is an animated American television sitcom that ran from September 30, 1960 to April 1, 1966 on ABC. Produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions, The Flintstones is about a working class Stone Age man's life with his family and his next door neighbor and best friend. It has since been re-released on both DVD and VHS. The show is 50 years old as of September 30th, 2010.

Critics and fans alike agree that the show was an animated imitation of The Honeymooners with rock puns thrown in. William Hanna admitted that "At that time "The Honeymooners" was the most popular show on the air, and for my bill, it was the funniest show on the air. The characters, I thought, were terrific. Now, that influenced greatly what we did with "The Flintstones"...."The Honeymooners" was there, and we used that as a kind of basis for the concept." However Joseph Barbera disavowed these claims in a separate interview, stating that "I don't remember mentioning "The Honeymooners" when I sold the show, but if people want to compare "The Flintstones" to "The Honeymooners," then great. It's a total compliment. "The Honeymooners" was one of the greatest shows ever written."[1] Its popularity rested heavily on its juxtaposition of modern-day concerns in the Stone Age setting.

Atletico de Madrid-Osasuna, an end week game

Here we are again! It was yesterday when we said that today's match is a strange confrontation for several reasons!

First, the day isn't the usual one as it's played on Monday and not in the weekend. It isn't the first time that the League plays matches in the week. Apart from those week games for National Teams purposes ( next one is on 23-25 March and Osasuna plays against Barcelona F.C. ), some years ago the Spanish League tried this formula and the private TV channel, Antena3, used to broadcast it.

The invention lasted two or three years the most. It was an absolute bluff as the economical loses were huge and, of course, when big powerful teams like Real Madrid or Barça had to play on those days, they complained to the chairman of LFP ( the bunch of chairmen of the proffessional football teams ) and in spite of their profits they refused the money and chose the quietness of playing in the weekend.

The game is also rare because Osasuna is playing against Atletico with the same points, at a below position due to goalaverage, as Osasuna forwards, like Pandiani or Aranda, who is not playing tonight, do not score many goals.
On the other hand, and as a positive point for Osasuna is the difference in the goalkeepers. Ricardo is the official and secure veteran goalkeeper of Osasuna. Only Real Madrid Casillas and Barça Valdes are in the fight for the Zamora trophy ( the best goalkeeper in the League ).

Osasuna has another opportunity to show us, their supporters that they are able to do better than to avoid relegation posts. But in the last four games, Camacho's men have only got two out of the twelve possible points.
The Vicente Calderon stadium has always been a good place to add points and see good games. It is said they have the best supporters in the League??? ( those who have been accused of killing a Real Sociedad supporter??? the so-called "INDIOS"???) and Osasuna must make a profit of the UEFA match Atletico plyed last Thursday!
Last year Osasuna came back to Pamplona with a brilliant victory ( 2-4 ) and a wonderful goal scored by Masoud. Let's hope this year the result may be the same, even when the final score be less impressive.

Posible kickoff teams:
Atlético de Madrid: De Gea; Ujfalusi, Perea, Domínguez, Antonio López; Jurado, Assunçao, Raúl García, Simao; Forlán and Agüero

Osasuna: Ricardo; Monreal, Miguel Flaño, Sergio, Azpilicueta; Vadocz, Nekounam, Camuñas, Juanfran; Pandiani and Masoud

Gora Osasuna! Aupa Rojillos!

My favourite TV programme is The Simpsons. It’s a comedy cartoon, and it’s from the USA.
The Simpsons is on channel (Antena 3) , But you can also see it on satellite TV. Each episode is half an hour long, but I don’t watch them, because they aren’t on Bulgarian TV any more.

The main location is Springfield. The events take place in all town. They are at home, a bar at the school, at the office where the father works, etc. There are five main characters, two parents, and three children: Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa & Maggie.

My favourite character is Homer J. Simpson. He plays the roles of husband, father, safety inspector at the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant, bowler, beer drinker, astronaut, small business owner and dreamer, and makes it all look easy. But it wasn't always so easy for Homer J. Raised by his father, Abe, who tried to compensate for the absence of Homer's radical hippie mother, Homer graduated at the bottom of his high school class and managed to earn the distinction of being the longest-term entry-level employee at the plant. Together with his high school sweetheart, Marge Bouvier, Homer settled down in Evergreen Terrace, the nicest upper-lower-middle class section of Springfield, to raise his three precious children. Homer is fond of Duff Beer, donuts, Marge's pork chops and watching the Bee Guy on the Spanish channel. His dislikes include his boss, Mr. Burns, yard work and his neighbour, Ned Flanders.

I like him because he’s the best character is this cartoon & because he’s very funny.

My favourite TV programme

Today there are many TV channels in Spain, though only 40 years ago there was an only one: TVE.
It's difficult, then, to talk about a unique favourite TV programme for a person, and I suppose it's even more difficult if you dedicate most of your free time in other hobbies: Internet, chat, playing computer games, going out, playing sports,....and don't forget you must do your daily homework.
Anyway, here I'm writing a model for your composition. Don't forget to describe what the programme is about, the channel it is on, the time you can watch and the title for the first paragraph. Then, describe the story or some of the characters/protagonists in the second paragraph, and finally, say why you like it in the final paragraph.
There are many programmes on the Spanish TV that I like,I'm a telly addict, and I'm going to describe them as shortly as possible.

To start with, when I arrive at home and have lunch I watch the news at 14.58 pm everyday on ETB ( the Basque television ), because they always talk about close news, about Navarra and Osasuna when they talk about football. I also like watching the news on channel Tele5 in the evening, at nine o'clock, just to get another point of view.

Besides, I usually watch a talk/chat show on ETB : Pasalo, at quarter past four in the afternoon everyday, but sometimes the topics are about politics and economy, and I am not very interested in them, so I often do my homework ( I correct or prepare writings like this one ). The presenters, Adela and Iñaki, are funny, but serious when it's necessary.

A quiz programme I really like during the week is Pasapalabra on Tele5 at quarter past eight in the evening, though I sometimes do zapping on Cuatro to watch Password at the same time. They are good quizes to learn about vocabulary and use the brains. The contestants are very good and they get very good prizes too.

These programmes are from Monday to Friday, but other programmes I sometimes watch are on specific days. For example, I watch La Señora on TVE1 at ten o'clock in the evening on Monday. It's a Spanish soap opera about the Spanish society at first half of XXth century. The main characters are Victoria, the lady, and Angel, a priest in love with the lady, and then people around them.
I hardly ever watch El Internado on Antena3, because it's at the same time and it is for younger people, because the characters are students in a boarding school who are trying to discover some mysteries about a series of crimes in that school.

On Tuesdays I usually watch a film on ETB at ten o'clock in the evening, but last two months I'm watching a reality show called Curso del 63 on Antena3. It's a reality show about the education at the beginning of the 60's in Spain, and though I know it's fiction, I like it and I usually start a debate after the show at home. I think the teachers and principal are good actors and the students learn more than geography, history or science. They learn how to respect people, rules and EDUCATION.

Some Tuesdays and Wednesdays I don't watch any series or films, because I usually watch the match of the day for the Champions. I like football and I enjoy watching teams like Barça, Liverpool, Milan, ...and sometimes Osasuna, of course, I know they don't play the Champions, but they're the best team in the world, even when they only play Copa del Rey during the week. The match is normally at quarter to nine in the evening on TVE1/ETB1 this season, but I also watch sports on Goal TV, Eurosport or Teledeporte in TDT or cable television.

On Thursday there aren't many programmes I like, so I sometimes watch a video about other programmes of the week. I usually watch a documentary about travelling from TVE1 and Cuatro called Viajeros or Españoles/Vascos en el mundo, I think. They talk about exotic places like Hong Kong, Beijing, etc. I hardly ever watch the comedy programme Vaya Semanita on ETB, though I used to be a fan. It's at ten o'clock in the evening.

In the weekend I usually go out in the morning or correct/ prepare exams, but in the afternoon, after having lunch I usually watch a film or a video. I like romantic, action and adventure films, but there aren't good films on TV and the cinemas are very expensive too, so I usually watch a DVD. Describe a film you watch recently or don't forget a cartoon you like.

Finally, I want to finish this model of composition with a short comment about an article which was published on El País today about the use of Internet and TV, and there is a conclusion: YouTube España uses tv programmes and they are the most seen videos on the net.
It opens a new way of watching the TV and the Internet 2.0 will be a new revolution for the TV and education too.
