My adventure trip to a country.


When I travelled to New York with my family and my dog I was very nervous and excited because I was waiting for this moment all my life.
Getting off the plane, I took all things and we went to the floor to rent my mother for a month. I was practicing a little English but it was not very good.
There we went to have dinner at a restaurant and there served the typical food that were grilled steaks, tacos,etc... I liked a lot because they were very rich.
To me what I like New York is that there are many lights at night and it is nice and romantic and what I like least is that there is a lot of dirt and it is very dangerous.
On that trip I could see my friend's child Alvaro, he is from Ecuador just like me but I came to Spain(Pamplona) and he, a few months later, went to New York.
Also I saw a beautiful park whre there were plants and flowers that I have never seen.
Also I love my neighbor Samir, he is very handsome with brown eyes and brown hair, he was my same age.
One day we were in the Park and just across the bridge with a few locks we put our names and engaged it there but the bad thing is that my uncle had an accident and had to leave before to Pamplona and the goodbye was very sad.

I´m in New York, I'm writing to you to tell you have to visit me. New York is special city because it is the city with more skyscrapers in the world.

I´m very happy with my work because I work in the skyscraper Empire State, on the higgest flat. You have to see all the skyscrapers because they are incredible!

As you know I like basketball a lot and I´m partner of the New York basketball team. The stadium is incredible is the biggest stadium in USA. I´m working, but I´m studying too, I´m studying to become a basketball coach.

In New York there is a big acuarium too. It is the biggest acuarium in the world, when I visited the first time I was excited.

I´m sorry but I have to go to work and don´t forget, you have to visit me

11-S Remebrance after 10 years

There are more photos in this link Today is a very special for everyone in the world. It's the 10th anniversary of the masacre at the Twin Towers in New York and many things have changed since then. Where were you when it happened? I was at my parents' as I was working in a school in Pamplona, not Salesians, and I went back to have lunch with my mum, actually, my father was still alive! I went into the living room and the tv was on. The first plane had just crashed and Ana Blanco, the tv news presenter, who is still in TVE1, said that "it might have been an accident of a private plane". My family and I had the quickest lunch in years and stuck our faces on the telly. As time was going ahead, horror started invading our eyes and mind. The Invicible United States of America was being attacked and everybody knew that revenge would be a question of time ( remember Irak and Afganistan ). On the other hand, we must remember that Human Beings were killed that day and had never decidded to attack any people or country in Asia. Maybe, most of them had ever voted Bush or their background was Muslim! The world is not the same any longer, and history always teaches good lessons to those who want to learn. This is my little remembrance for all them!

Arthur's Day

These days it is celebrated Arthur's Day in Dublin and other cities worldwide. It started last year, when it was celebrated the 250th anniversary of the Guinness brewing company.

The events take place in the city of Dublin, mainly, but also in Kuala Lumpur or New York. Everything starts at 17.59 as it is believed that the company started in the year 1759 on a day like today. It was the result of Guinness's father's will, 100 pounds of that time, and the investment was very successful and became famous.

So enjoy this day and drink a good Guinness. A toss for Arthur Guinness on Thursday 23rd, no matter where you are, find an Irish pub and celebrate!

Hi Jorge,

I´m writing this email from Dominican Republic. The weather is really hot, it´s fantastic. But when it rains, it rains a lot. My family and I are visiting many places to remember our country, we also went to the capital and other towns, pool and beach. The beach is beautiful, crystal clear because it is so clean.
It´s very beautiful and I love to be with my family. I would like you were with me.

You know that a year ago that we did not come, so now we have to enjoy because we do not know when we come back.
We caught a plane from Noain to Madrid and other from Madrid to the capital of Dominican Republic, Santo Domingo.

So for I´ve really enjoyed the people and haven´t had any bad experiences.
Tonight we´re staying at my aunt's with my two cousins and my uncle in my city, Bonao.

Tomorrow we're going to visit the family of my parents, because you haven't seen them, I am very excited because I'm going to see a cousin that I love, I'm eating a lot there and.at night we'll go to a well-known nightclub.

Well I have to go because I need to sleep because tomorrow I've got a day and a long night.

Hi Alberto

How are you? As you know, I´m in New York. I arrived here last weekend after an exhausting flight from Madrid´s airport. The city is terrific, but the weather is being very bad. The sights of New York snowed, from the Empire State Building are incredible. The Liberty statue is also very beautiful with this weather. But the airplane trip was terrorific, because there was a huge snow storm before arriving U.S.A. You know, I was afraid of an airplanes´s accident.

I´ve been in the central bussiness district and in the Rockefeller square. I´ve walked a lot this two days and I´ve taken the underground too. I was very enthusiastic of taking it, because I took it for first time.

I´m here for two more weeks and in this time I want to go to some museums, if I can I´ll go to the Natural History Museum. Tomorrow I´m going to the train station and I go to Washington. The train is not a common way of transport here, but it is a easy and cheap way to move.

Hi Dan!!!
I´m writing this email from France. The weather is really cold at the moment but I really like it here because France is very interesting . We´re driving around the country by bus and we´re stopping in different places.

We´ve just arrived here in Paris. In the last few days we´ve driven through any other different places.We´ve driven through the Triumphal Arch.
I really hate the food because the food isn´t better than the Spanish food.
We´ve had some bad experiences.
Tonight we´re staying in a big hotel near the centre and there were some strong winds.
Tomorrow we´re going to visit the Eiffel Tower and we´re going to travel by ship along the Sena river.
It should be fun.
