This is an example of writing to prepare for the exam
My name is Jason Voorhees. I was born on Friday the 13th in 1980, so I must be 29 years old ( no matter whhich month ). I live alone ( someone killed my mum- Ari Lehman, and I only know my creator, Victor Miller, as my father ). The FBI sets up a sting to kill me, which proves successful. Through mystical possession, however, I survive by passing my demon-infested heart from one being to the next. Though I am hardly seen throughout the film, I learn I have a sister and a niece, and that I need them to retrieve and reinhabit my body. After resurrecting it, I finally was killed by my niece Jessica Kimble (Kari Keegan) and dragged to Hell. According to a book I also have a son, conceived through a form of artificial insemination. I'm not a comedic character, I'm not sympathetic. I'm a killing machine. Plain and simple."
I always wear a hockey mask, so I can't tell you what I am like, but I am strong. I died when I was young, but you can't kill me ( people bury or cremate me ). I usually regenerate, and I am invulnerable. I hardly ever live other people's lives, but people take my appearance through dreams and hallucinations.
My ideal festivity is Halloween. I always celebrate it on 31st October night. I sometimes go out with my friend Freddy Krueger. We both dress up with our typical clothes and walk among skeletons and witches from house to house and look for new victims. I usually kill other people or threat them with knives and electric saws.
We like scaring people who are playing "trick or treat" in the streets and around the houses. We love going to cemeteries and we don't mind sleeping on the graves.
At the weekend I sometimes look for revenge for my mother's dead at some campsites. On Saturday morning I go to Crystal Lake and I keep it clean from intruders. In the afternoon, I go to a near campsite, Forest Green, and threat their owners, and I try to kill them one by one, but nobody recognise me, as I wear a bag over my face to hide my face.
Some victims get away from me and they escape or sometimes hurt me, but they only get me angry. I hate running after the victims!!
On Saturday afternoon I usually make an appearance in video games, based on popular movies in the 80s and early 90s, released Friday the 13th on the Nintendo Entertainment System. On October 13, 2006, a Friday the 13th game was released for mobile phones. The game puts the user in my persona as I battle the undead.
Before going to bed, on Saturday evening I sometimes read published novelizations of Freddy vs. Jason and Jason X respectively. The Jason X series consisted of four sequels to the novelization of the film. Jason X: The Experiment was the first published. I also read the new Friday the 13th comics.
On Sunday I often fight with Ginny, the lone survivor. She sometimes slams a machete through my shoulder. People think that I'm dead, but I can't die!! They finally get crazy or are driven into hysteria.
On Sunday evening I usually rest from my wounds.
