In thirteen years I don’t think that my city will change so much, it will have its evolution obviously, but nothing very impressive.
I think we will see new things such as more modern, faster and more environmentally cars, I hope it will reduce the annual number of accidents thanks to its evolution.
I also think that the clothes will change,there will not be the same styles like now.
There will be new buildings that will be aesthetically different, with unusual shapes, striking colors..etc
Society will be hopefully better, not as nowadays that there are many prejudices, canons of beauty, stereotypes and social fears.
I also hope that politics will change and they will stop stealing money and the crisis will end.
I think that technology will have advanced enough, and hopefully the medicine too, so there will be fewer deaths and illness.
And speaking of myself, I'll be 29 years, I hope i wll have my studies and a job, my house and I will continue with my boyfriend.
In the future the cars won't use petrol. We will use flying cars with batteries. Houses will be intelligent houses because you will be able to programme all the household appliances. We will live in peace and there won't be any war in the world. Mobile phones will work in our body, and people will live in Mars. In the future I don't know where I will live. I will get a job in a workshop. I will definitely learn to drive a car, I definitely won't go to university, because I'm going to study electomechanics at a vocational studies college. Perhaps I will buy a house and I will have one or two dogs at home. My car will be a flaying car with battery. Maybe I will get married and I will have children.
In 2030, I can imagine Pamplona as a very different place as now. I imagine cars will work with organic waste and solar energy, as they can charge the car engine while you are at home or at work.
There will be a concept of life in which people will have better values. I would also love that people would talk to each other more instead of through their mobiles all day. I wish there would be chairs you could sit and you could go everywhere you want in a few minutes or hours, like by a plane now.

The history of Saint Valentine.
Valentin was a priest who married the soldiers with their girlfriend in secret because the King order that the soldiers musn´t married so in the war they would have no dependents. But Valentin was discovered and he died. So this day is in Honour of this man.

Valentine was a priest , around the third century in Rome exercised . Reagan Emperor Claudius II , who decided to ban the celebration of marriages for young people, because in his opinion the single soldiers without families were better because they had fewer ties .
The priest felt that the decree was unfair and challenged the Emperor . Held in secret marriages for young lovers (hence it has become popular that Valentine is the patron saint of lovers ) . The Emperor Claudius found out and as Valentine enjoyed great prestige in Rome , the emperor summoned him to the palace. Valentine took that occasion to proselytize Christianity. Although he showed interest , the army and the governor of Rome, called Calpurnius , persuaded him to persuade her into a top Claudius II .
The Emperor Claudius then ordered it to be imprisoned Day. Then the Asterius official , imprison manager , wanted to ridicule and test Valentin . He challenged the view that devolviese a daughter , named Julia , who was born blind. Valentine agreed and , on behalf of the Lord restored his sight .
This convulsed Asterius and his family, who converted to Christianity . Anyway, Valentine continued weak prisoner and eventually Emperor Claudius ordered that he be martyred and executed on 14 February 270. Julia Young , grateful to the saint, planted an almond tree pink flowers by her grave . Hence, the almond is a symbol of lasting love and friendship.

San Valentin was a roman priest in the 3rd century. In this moment Claudio II was the emperador of the city. He establish that the young men can't married with anyone because he was better soldier when they are alone. This priest was against, so he decide to marry all the cuples on the quiet. Claudio learned this and executed him. Valentin died the 14th February 270, so since this day, we celebrate San Valentin in his honor.

SAINT VALENTINE´S HISTORY
Flowers, candy, red hearts and romance. That's what Valentine's day is all about, right? Well, maybe not.
The origin of this holiday for the expression of love really isn't romantic at all -- at least not in the traditional sense. Father Frank O'Gara of Whitefriars Street Church in Dublin, Ireland, tells the real story of the man behind the holiday -- St. Valentine.
"He was a Roman Priest at a time when there was an emperor called Claudias who persecuted the church at that particular time," Father O'Gara explains. " He also had an edict that prohibited the marriage of young people. This was based on the hypothesis that unmarried soldiers fought better than married soldiers because married soldiers might be afraid of what might happen to them or their wives or families if they died."
"I think we must bear in mind that it was a very permissive society in which Valentine lived," says Father O'Gara. "Polygamy would have been much more popular than just one woman and one man living together. And yet some of them seemed to be attracted to Christian faith. But obviously the church thought that marriage was very sacred between one man and one woman for their life and that it was to be encouraged. And so it immediately presented the problem to the Christian church of what to do about this."
"The idea of encouraging them to marry within the Christian church was what Valentine was about. And he secretly married them because of the edict."
Valentine was eventually caught, imprisoned and tortured for performing marriage ceremonies against command of Emperor Claudius the second. There are legends surrounding Valentine's actions while in prison.
"One of the men who was to judge him in line with the Roman law at the time was a man called Asterius, whose daughter was blind. He was supposed to have prayed with and healed the young girl with such astonishing effect that Asterius himself became Christian as a result."
In the year 269 AD, Valentine was sentenced to a three part execution of a beating, stoning, and finally decapitation all because of his stand for Christian marriage. The story goes that the last words he wrote were in a note to Asterius' daughter. He inspired today's romantic missives by signing it, "from your Valentine."
"What Valentine means to me as a priest," explains Father O'Gara, "is that there comes a time where you have to lay your life upon the line for what you believe. And with the power of the Holy Spirit we can do that -- even to the point of death."
Valentine's martyrdom has not gone unnoticed by the general public. In fact, Whitefriars Street Church is one of three churches that claim to house the remains of Valentine. Today, many people make the pilgrimage to the church to honor the courage and memory of this Christian saint.
"Valentine has come to be known as the patron saint of lovers. Before you enter into a Christian marriage you want some sense of God in your life -- some great need of God in your life. And we know, particularly in the modern world, many people are meeting God through his Son, Jesus Christ."
"If Valentine were here today, he would say to married couples that there comes a time where you're going to have to suffer. It's not going to be easy to maintain your commitment and your vows in marriage. Don't be surprised if the 'gushing' love that you have for someone changes to something less "gushing" but maybe much more mature. And the question is, is that young person ready for that?"
"So on the day of the marriage they have to take that into context," Father O'Gara says. "Love -- human love and sexuality is wonderful, and blessed by God -- but also the shadow of the cross. That's what Valentine means to me.

Halloween is a party that normaly is celebrated in the USA.It is celebrated on 31 of October.
People usually do typical things like: going to costume parties, visiting hauting atracttions... It's a good tradition, but I don´t like it, because it is a festival that Americans brought and I don´t like.
How I said, I don´t like, therefore I don´t celebrate. I get up and at Halloween day I usually go to my granparents' house to have lunch with my family, that they don´t celebrate Halloween either.
We have lunch and then we all go together to the old part of Pamplona in the afternoon.
We have dinner in the old part and when we are sleepy, we all go back to my
granparents' to go to bed.
Charles Dickens was born on February 7, 1812, the son of a clerk at the Navy Pay Office. His father, John Dickens, continually living beyond his means, was imprisoned for debt in the Marshalsea in 1824.
12-year-old Charles was removed from school and sent to work at a boot-blacking factory, earning six shillings a week to help support the family. This dark experience cast a shadow over the clever, sensitive boy that became a defining experience in his life, he would later write that he wondered "how I could have been so easily cast away at such an age."
This childhood poverty and feelings of abandonment, although unknown to his readers until after his death, would be a heavy influence on Dickens' later views on social reform and the world he would create through his fiction.
Dickens would go on to write 15 major novels and countless short stories and articles before his death on June 9, 1870. He wished to be buried, without fanfare, in a small cemetery in Rochester, but the Nation would not allow it. He was laid to rest in Poet's Corner, Westminster Abbey, the flowers from thousands of mourners overflowing the open grave. Among the more beautiful bouquets were many simple clusters of wildflowers, wrapped in rags.

This year is the 50th anniversary of Hemingway's death, almost a week before of the start of his most loved festival, Sanfermines, which have been made famous worldwide thanks to the American writer.
His wife and himself arrived in Pamplona in 1923 for first time, when Ernest Heminway was working as a correspondent in Europe for the Canadian newspaper Toronto Star.
From the very beginning, Hemingway was shocked by the atmosphere of Sanfermines and he realized it was the most awesome festival in the world. He was right, as he used to, because Sanfermines is unique in the world and the only way to say that is to live the fiesta in Pamplona.
Hemingway arrive in Pamplona to discover the truth as part of an article to describe the madness of running in front of six bulls in the streets of a lost city, Pamplona, in the north of a semi-known country, Spain.The author of the Sun also rises not only saw that it was right, but he also found something else, much more than the expected.Thenceforth, Ernest fell in love ,like a mad lover, with our festival, he could ever forget them and he visited us eight more times.
“The sun also rises” (“Fiesta”)is published in 1926, and as any Navarrian must know, inspired and starred in the Sanfermines of those years. It is considered his first best-seller, even when that word was not in use that period, and made Sanfermines become famous worldwide.
The Literature nobel prize winner of 1954 was year after year more famous in the city and we paid tribute to his figure in Pamplona too. When Ernest Hemingway visited Pamplona, he used to stay in Hotel La Perla, in Plaza del Castillo. Now you can also stay in the famous room 217 and see the encierro live.
Now a guiri, the well-known word to define the foreigner in Sanfermines, can visit places in Pamplona like the tavern El Txoko, café Iruña or Torino thanks to the famous novel of Hemingway. There the writer used to meet his friends to eat and drink the tipical Navarrian products.
He never ran in front of the bulls, as most of his fellow countrymen do now, what they should avoid for the best of the Sanfermines. Anyway, he enjoyed the view of the running of the bulls from the kitchen of the old Hotel Maisonnave in the famous Estafeta street, and of course, he watched the bullfighting in the Pamplona bull ring.
We can't know how famous Sanfermines would be if Hemingway hadn't discovered for the entire world in 1923, but it is clear that without the author of "Fiesta" Sanfermines would not be the same nowadays.
